The real world

"My background in radiology research helps me to understand the practical challenges of bringing cutting-edge healthcare to the clinic. At some point I realized that the “real world” is a better fit for me than the lab - especially if that real world still involves calculating something. That’s when I decided to transition to strategy consulting. At the end of the day, research only turns into life-changing therapy for everyday people when when it gets a place in our health care systems."

Insights from unexpected corners

"The frequent realization that knowledge and insight can come from unexpected corners inspires me. People know and understand a lot more than you think they do – but sometimes, they have trouble translating that into words, numbers, and step-by-step procedures for moving forward. The second-best part of any day is getting to hear someone else’s story or observe them doing what they do best. The best part is when you can help them solve their problem."
