Admiration
“During my medical studies, I developed a deep admiration for all professionals who dedicate themselves to patients at times when being healthy is not a given. Not only by providing care, but also by doing something extra that means the world to someone—for example, the time a dying patient in the hospital was able to say goodbye to his dog. Something so small can carry immense value! I also witnessed firsthand that some problems are simply too big for an individual healthcare provider to solve: patients who have to come to the hospital three times because the scheduling was too complex otherwise. Or patients whose home situation causes medical issues, yet you are unable to help them with that. At Gupta, we work on transforming healthcare in many ways, ensuring that care remains admirable now and in the future.”
Inspiring environment
“For me, the way of working together in a team is at least as important as the content of the projects. At Gupta, I experience no hierarchy or competition, but an open and engaged atmosphere where we celebrate successes and create space for growth. I already experienced this during my internship at Gupta. I truly felt like a valued colleague, rather than the medical intern expected to take on the unwanted tasks. What a breath of fresh air!”
